Teacher: Physics 20, Physics 30

Mr. Allan has been teaching Math and Science for approximately 12 years. Before this, he received his diploma in Computer Engineering.

He was born and raised in Calgary before moving to northern Alberta to start teaching and then moving back south to Red Deer a short 5 years ago. He spends most of his free time with his wife and 3 children.

As we begin this school year, he wants to share these thoughts: It is easy to feel a little sad when summer is gone, but remember that education is an amazing opportunity. It sets the stage for a happy life. Real learning means paying attention and staying curious. In this new school year, I wish you inspiration and happiness! On the Catholic Education System: A Catholic school is not just an environment for providing a series of lessons; it operates with an educational philosophy, which aims to meet the needs of the children of today in light of the Church’s faith in Jesus Christ. It is our responsibility as Catholic educators to teach students how to love one another in a Catholic community by setting a positive example through modeling the Gospel Values. By viewing Jesus as a teacher and valuing the Ten Commandments, we will create a caring and safe environment for our students to learn in.
