JV/SR Cougars Football Spring Camp 2017

Calling all Grade 6-11 students interested in playing football for the JR/SR Cougars for the 2017 season.

Senior players currently in Grade 9-11

  • Monday, June 29 - Thursday, June 1 4:00 -6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, June 5-8 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Junior Players currently in Grade 6-8
  • Monday, June 29 - Thursday, June 1 4:15 - 6:30 p.m.
  • Monday, June 5-8 4:15 - 6:30 p.m.

There is a $35 fee for new players to the program to cover the cost of a girdle. All players must have a parent attend on the first day to fill out a permission form.

Cougars Defeat the #4 Ranked Team

The Cougar Football Team had an impressive win against the mighty Harry Ainley Titans 27-8. This is the first time in 21 years that a Teir 1 school from Central Alberta has advanced to the ASAA Provincial Semi-Finals.

The Cougars have their hands full playing the number one ranked team in Alberta the Bev Facey Falcons led by their outstanding running back Chubba Hubbard.

The game will be played at Clarke Field in Edmonton on November 19 a 2:30 p.m. Go Cougars!

Run away with 39-15 win over four-time defending champion Hunting Hills Lightning


Cougars will now face a tough team Harry Ainley Titans from Edmonton.

The game will be played at 4:00pm @ ME Global Athletic Park in Lacombe.



Cougars Face Hunting Hills High School

Cougars will face Hunting Hills High School in the Zone Final Saturday November 5th at 2:30pm.  Game will be played at ME Global Field in Lacombe. Come dressed in Blue and Gold and cheer on your Cougars!

Cougar Football off to a great start

The 2016 season looks pretty promising for the Cougar Football Team. The team is we represented with a great group of Grade 12's.

The Cougars defeated Holy Trinity Academy (Okotoks) 53-7 in a preseason game in August.

Cougars defeat the Lindsay Thurber raiders in their 2016 opener with a convincing 49-21.

The cougars displayed a  well balance attack

Cougars on a Roll defeating the league 4 time Champions

The cougars displayed great defense against the defending champions Hunting Hill Lightning by defeating them 40 -0.

Stars of the game were Johannes Smith and Justin Fedun who had a strong running game

Still Undefeated

Cougars rolled into Lacombe and sneaked out a win 39-33 against the Lacombe Rams. The game was exciting from a fans perspective going back and forth with a total of over 1000 yards combined.
